Dixon Gallery and Gardens, in Memphis, Hosts Rodrigue Retrospective: July 29-Oct. 17, 2007

The spectacular work of GoodBiz113 profilee George Rodrigue ["Louisiana Artist Brings Post-Katrina [Blue Dog] Relief to New Orleans"] will be featured during a retrospective exhibition at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, in Memphis, Tenn., from July 29 through Oct. 14, 2007.

Titled "Forty Years of Cajuns, Blue Dogs and Beyond Katrina," the exhibit will showcase more than 100 paintings plus many never-before-seen original works on canvas and sculpture created during the artist's prestigious 40-year career. Explore the evolution from oak trees to Evangeline, from Cajun fishermen and politicians, to the incomparable Blue Dog.

Two special events include:
